“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”—Mark Twain
I was the one at fault. Maybe the aftermath was not my fault, but the road that took us there was and it took me 3 months to see that after reading a Glamour article. Now that I have come to this realization it may be too late to fix anything but I’m okay with that because at least I’ve learned for the future.
Everyone makes mistakes but owning up to them is what counts because that is how we learn and know what not to do in the future.
Advice I learned: You cannot force something before it’s ready to happen, this creates problems.
I like to get what I think I want and sometimes I’m a little too aggressive at it. I wouldn’t be as successful as I am without that mentality but I have to realize that not all areas of my life will be successful with that method.
Looking forward to a great rest of the day even though I have class…
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”—
Ryan Gosling is a great actor, he often does little indie films as he recently demonstrated in Blue Valentine and has some amazing performances under his belt. Mark my words here and now, he will be one of the greats in a few more years.
